AKC Canine Good Citizen

This expert-made training program is designed to help you and your dog work together as a team and be the best you can be. The CGC program is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible ownership to their owners. By participating in this program, you'll be ensuring that your dog is well-behaved and obedient, while also learning how to be a responsible and loving dog owner.

AKC Community

Building on what you learned in the CGC program, you can take it to the next level with the AKC Community Canine program. This program builds on the skills you and your dog learned in CGC, and takes them out into the community. The goal is to test your dog's skills in real-life situations, not just in a training ring. There are 10 additional skills to learn, and they'll be tested in natural settings like parks or busy streets. AKC Community Canine is the most advanced level of the Canine Good Citizen program, and it's perfect for dogs who are ready for a new challenge.

AKC Urban

Once you receive your AKC Canine Good Citizen, you can work towards your AKC Urban CGC. This class is designed to help you pass this test that demonstrates your dog's good manners when you're out and about in busy city or town settings with lots of distractions. Plus, it can be used by dog-friendly businesses like hotels, stores, and transportation services to recognize and accept dogs with good behavior. The AKC Urban CGC test is a 10-step process that goes beyond the basic Canine Good Citizen skills, and it's a great way to show that your dog is a reliable and trustworthy companion in different public settings.

AKC Star Puppy

These training classes help you to learn how to talk to your new puppy in a way that they can understand. You'll get to meet other puppies and help your puppy learn to be around other dogs. In some classes, you can learn how to teach your puppy important skills like potty training, not chewing on things they shouldn't, and how to come when you call them. If you complete the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program, you'll get all the information you need to raise a happy and healthy puppy, and it's a great way to start preparing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen program.

AKC Rally Novice

Are you looking for a fun way to bond with your furry friend? Rally is all about teamwork - you and your dog will navigate a course together, side-by-side, at a brisk pace. The course is designed by a Rally judge and includes 10-15 signs with various turns and commands such as sit, down, and stay. As you guide your dog through the course, he'll need to perform different exercises, all while staying on a leash. It's a great way to work together as a team and show off your skills. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, AKC Rally is a fun and challenging activity for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

AKC Rally Intermediate

Rally Intermediate offers more challenging exercises that you can do with your dog. These exercises are performed while your dog is on-leash and do not require any jumping. In total, there are usually between 12-17 signs that you and your dog will need to follow. These signs build on the ones used in the Novice level, and they test both your own skills and the abilities of your dog. By taking part in this level, you'll build more advanced training techniques that can help you achieve greater success in competitions and other dog-related activities.

AKC Rally Advanced

After completeing the Intermediate level of Rally, it's time to push you and your dogs skills the next level. With Advanced Rally, all exercises are performed off-leash and there is one jump required. You'll use similar courses and skills to the Intermediate level, but with a high degree of precision and focus. These courses are designed to showcase your dog's advanced skills in obedience, while also testing your ability to communicate with your furry friend.
